Funding from partners like KAIZEN FOUNDATION allows us to provide regular actions and services for our community like the MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELLING, created for the Academy by the International Rescue Committee (IRC), around adolescent mental health. We are looking to provide more sessions, supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of our community members. The other action is free legal consultations with a qualified lawyer on any advice related to Greek Law. Regular slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Funding from Growthfund will allow us to introduce counselling for parents on the subject of mental health, to support families in parenting and development of their kids and Academy athletes.

NIKE EQUIPMENT & INSPIRATION: A partner of the Academy, Nike provides funding, along with basketball apparel and footwear to enable the best performance of the athletes and the coaches. Nike athletes from around the world have visited the Academy and offered inspiration and skill-clinics, which our athletes enjoyed so much.

EDUCATION: Our five-year partnership with The American College of Greece includes 1) an educational curriculum of life skills, leadership development, and mentoring by Pierce College for the Antetokounmpo Academy athletes; 2) A grant for 40 scholarships for refugee students on ‘Education Unites’ program at Deree University; 3) University scholarships at Deree for Academy alumni.

OPERATIONS: A founding partner of the Academy, Eurohoops team is the operational partner, responsible for the day-to-day running of the program as well as the wellbeing of the athletes and families.

BIOIATRIKI NUTRITION HEALTH CHECKS: We have partnered with Bioiatriki Nutrition to provide each participating child with a comprehensive health assessment that covers cardiovascular checks as well as checkups to review physical development, malnutrition, weight, obesity, and other lifestyle factors like sleep and exercise. Each athlete gets a personalized guideline of improvement.

CAFF KITCHEN: Our goal is to foster a love for sports and ensure that every child in our program receives proper nutrition to support their growth and development. We’ve partnered with Ergon Foods to bring the CAFF Kitchen initiative to life by providing a nutritious, hot meal after each training session and a monthly food box with healthy, culturally appropriate ingredients for each family.
